Planting Comics is a comics installation in the University of California Botanical Garden featuring twenty original comics printed on ceramic tiles throughout the garden. Each comic is a location-based comic and refers to a nearby plant, view, or a detail in the physical environment. The visitors go on an art hunt in the garden by using a map and try to find all twenty comics and then to create their own comic plant story on the back of the map.
